What a gradation of shades there is in these drawings, from garish whites to subdued greys, and finally to deep blacks. “I make use of elementary forms of imagery whose origin is rooted in the history of the most ancient art. Geometry and illusionism are its two basic components. The whole construction of nature and the human being acting in it has its origin in geometrical forms. It is the plane, line and space that determine the composition of a drawing. This is how my experience of the world is reflected”.
